NO W HERE e.V. der Verein zur Förderung von Kunst und Kultur lädt zur Ausstellungseröffnung am Donnerstag, den 28.August 2025 um 18:00 Uhr ins Kreishaus Forum ein.
Die Veranstaltung NO W HERE#4 mit dem Titel LIVE.STILLS Dokumentierte Vergänglichkeit“ zeigt ausgewählte Fotos von Performances, die im Rahmen des Festivals NO W HERE#2 und NO W HERE#3 im Jahr 2023 und 2024, in der Innenstadt von Goslar stattfanden. Außerdem werden Videodokumentationen zu sehen sein. Beteiligt waren 15 Kunstschaffende aus Australien, Thailand, Frankreich Ungarn, Spanien und Deutschland.
Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass zwei Künstlerinnen, Barbara Le Béguec Friedman (FR) und Yaryna Shumska (UA), am Eröffnungsabend live performen werden.
Yaryna Shumska ist, neben der Performance Kunst, im Bereich von Malerei, Installation, Foto und Videodokumentation aktiv. Gleichzeitig ist sie Dozentin an der National Academy of Arts in Lviv.
Barbara Le Béguec Friedman ist als Multimedia Künstlerin in den Bereichen Video, Zeichnung, Malerei und Performance Kunst tätig. Beide Künstlerinnen sind ebenso als Kuratorinnen und Organisatorinnen von Kunstveranstaltungen aktiv.
Am Eröffnungsabend wird Dr. Elfi Krajewski begrüßen. Beate Linne, Vereinsvorsitzende und Künstlerin, sowie Snežana Golubović Künstlerin und ehemalige Professorin für Performative Kulturelle Bildung an der Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences werden eine Einführung in das Thema Performance Kunst und die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen ihrer Dokumentation geben. Beide sind seit vielen Jahren in der internationalen Performance Kunst Szene aktiv.
Die Ausstellung sowie die Live-Performances ermöglichen ein Herantasten an die vergängliche Form der Performance Kunst und einen Austausch mit den anwesenden Künstlerinnen.

Der Verein NO W HERE e.V. hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht Kunst und Kultur im ländlichen Raum zu stärken und Veranstaltungen für alle Menschen zugänglich zu machen. Ganz besonders möchte er Menschen aller Altersgruppen ansprechen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich.

Die Ausstellung kann bis zum 28.09.25 zu den bekannten Öffnungszeiten im Forum des Kreishauses besichtigt werden.

NO W HERE e.V., the Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture, cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibition on Thursday, 28 August 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Kreishaus Forum.
The event NO W HERE#4, titled LIVE.STILLS – Documented Transience, presents selected photographs of performances that took place in the city centre of Goslar during the NO W HERE#2 and NO W HERE#3 festivals in 2023 and 2024. In addition, video documentation will be shown. A total of 15 artists from Australia, Thailand, France, Hungary, Spain, and Germany were involved.
A special highlight of the evening will be live performances by two artists: Barbara Le Béguec Friedman (FR) and Yaryna Shumska (UA).
Yaryna Shumska works not only in performance art but also in painting, installation, photography, and video documentation. She is also a lecturer at the National Academy of Arts in Lviv.
Barbara Le Béguec Friedman is a multimedia artist working in video, drawing, painting, and performance art. Both artists are also active as curators and organisers of art events.
The opening evening will begin with a welcome by Dr Elfi Krajewski. Beate Linne, chairwoman of the association and artist, together with Snežana Golubović, artist and former professor of Performative Cultural Education at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, will provide an introduction to the topic of performance art and the possibilities and limitations of its documentation. Both have been active in the international performance art scene for many years.
The exhibition and live performances offer an opportunity to explore the ephemeral nature of performance art and engage in dialogue with the participating artists.
The exhibition has been curated by Beate Linne and features photographs by Madeleine Franke from Braunschweig.
NO W HERE e.V. is dedicated to strengthening art and culture in rural areas and making events accessible to everyone. The association especially aims to reach people of all age groups. No prior knowledge is required.
